#100headschallenge Started - Jun 2020 Finished - Jun 2022 I found this challenge via Instagram and I thought it would help me with drawing faces, and it most definitely did! I am now more easily able to capture the likeness of a person, and have a better understanding of facial plains and how different face shapes work. This challenge also helped me to grow more consistent in my art style!
#inktober Years participated - 2018, 2019, 2021 - present Inktober is a daily Instagram drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. The official Inktober Instagram puts out an official prompt list each year, and artists do a drawing a day for all of October. I’ve done many different daily drawing challenges, but Inktober is the one I have the most consistent style established for. It’s really easy to see my progression as an artist through looking at my Inktober pieces. The years I’ve fully completed all 31 drawings are 2018, 2021, 2024, and 2025. All the Inktober drawings I’ve ever done can be found on my art Instagram account (@gabriellla.creates).
